Yo! AzureSonata here! Azie (ey-zee), if you want something shorter. I'm in my 'teen' years now, but still nowhere near 18 (well, that's what I think. What do YOU think?). A ,b>Filipina at heart, residing at the capital, Pearl of the Orient. But I can be seen lurking around Singapore and Malaysia once a year if my schedule allows it. (;
I live in my own world and usually look at the portrait outside in a different sense compared to those of my age group. I prefer to watch, understand and then give my opinion afterwards. I'll respect your opinion if you respect mine (everyone has the right to speak out afterall). I may have a different view on things but I respect others as well as long as they do that with mine as well.
Deeply attached to any forms of art (be it anime, paintings, photography, digital design, movie-making etc.). I would usually kill time by sitting in a corner of my room, listen to my mp4 player and draw whatever comes across my mind. Novels, poetry and fanfictions give me inspiration for my art but nothing compares to real-life where the real story actually is. Someday, I want to create my little masterpiece that even the common people can enjoy. :)
I LOVE reading. I read anything as long as it has some sense and it is good. Literary works that I like:

- The Legend of Sleepy Hollow
- Ivanhoe
- Shakespearean Sonnets

I am also fond of reading fanfictions. I usually avoid crossover ones but if I encounter fics that are well-written, I might consider reading it and even give it a decent critique (although I'm usually at my lazy-mode). I hate Mary Sues, Gary Stus, and other beings that I might burn or turn to confetti when I see one.
I can't live without ANIME and MANGA. CLAMP is my favorite author. I'm actually their stalker(LOLz). I follow their works starting from Rayearth up to the most recent, Kobato. And my greatest and probably unattainable dream? Be a part of this manga powerhouse! they're the reason why up to today (since the 1998 showing of Rayearth in the Philippines) I am an anime fan XD. I also enjoy other series if the plot catches my attention (Naruto, One Piece, Bleach, etc.).
Enjoys listening to music although I'm very picky. I'll only listen to it if it has good lyrics and a really nice melody that can represent my mood every time I listen to it. Classical music is one of my favorite music genres. I find it relaxing and I sometimes use it for meditation or when I'm having my devotion. I hope I could buy another round of CDs sometime this year. I missed shopping for those. Speaking of music, I also play instruments like the flute, piano and of course, the violin. Although I am not a master of any of the said instruments... yet. I wish to continue my studies on these instruments when I have the free time... especially on the violin and the piano :)
I also enjoy eating different cuisines from different cultures. Lasagna and pizza are my main favorites but sushi and ramen also tops the list. I don't have a sweet tooth but I have a soft spot for ice cream. I never eat my pasta without LOTS of cheese in it and I never let a weekend pass without a serving of yogurt in my tummy. Green tea serves as my anti-toxin during those hell weeks. Cooked carrots aren't my thing. I prefer to eat them raw along with lettuce (yar! Vegetable Salad!).
